About Michelle
With over 15 years of experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, Michelle Urkowitz helps children develop the communication skills they need to connect, learn, and thrive. She is passionate about empowering children to build confidence, express themselves effectively, and form meaningful relationships.
Michelle specializes in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental language delays, social communication challenges, AAC needs, and complex communication challenges.
Through individualized, family-centered therapy, she partners closely with children and their families to build on each child’s strengths, support meaningful progress, and promote success at home, in school, and throughout the community.
Her therapy approach is child-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each family’s goals and priorities. Michelle is dedicated to helping every child find effective ways to communicate and participate more confidently in everyday life.
